Week one of being on Nutrisystem has literally just flown by. I found myself feeling hungry later in the evening, and after taking a look at my calorie count and food report, I realized that I wasn’t eating enough. As usual this is my problem. I’m an under-eater rather than an over-eater.
I’ve been drinking my water and already I feel better. I’ve lowered my caffeine intake – total coffee addict – to 2 cups a day. I’m hoping to decrease it to one cup of coffee by the end of my first month. Yep, another challenge I have set out for myself.
Results and Stats
Weight: 247.8lbs (total loss of 2.2lbs!!!)
Nothing has really changed in measurements yet, but I expect it to within the next couple of weeks. I am totally excited to see that 2.2lbs come off. I was honestly worried nothing happened at all!
As is the norm when you’re on a diet, food becomes an issue. There is only so many times you can snack on cucumber slices before getting bored. So I scoured the internet and Nutrisystem to find some delicious recipes that my family would love too!
Being on a diet doesn’t mean that you are punishing yourself from food that tastes good. In fact there is a plethora of recipes that will make you drool and be grateful that you are on a diet. I mean let’s face it, if it wasn’t for being on a diet, we’d never try a new vegetable or a fish or meat we’ve never had before.
It’s almost exciting finding new ways to eat your favorite dish or try a new one. Being on a diet means changing your diet, but it can be done so deliciously. Let’s take a look at twenty healthy recipes that you won’t regret eating!
I love any kind of squash and Asian dishes are my favorite! I can’t wait to try this one.
For the record I am not a fan of Sweet Potatoes. I’ll eat them if that’s the only option but I will not purposely go out and buy them for a recipe. Now this one throws in chickpeas and good-for-you seasonings like cumin. This is on my list for next week’s dinner.
