I was going to write a new recipe today. I was also going to write an update on my fertility journey which I promised a few weeks back. I’m not doing either of those things. I’ve been busy working and putting together some awesome posts for you guys. Winter is starting to come down hard on most of us and the Holidays have officially quit creeping up and are in our faces full blown now. So I put some posts up about all that good stuff.
I really did want to take a break from actual information and get back into a little bit of personal. I guess I’m going to do that in a different way.
The other night, as I was finishing up my Christmas Tree, (Don’t judge!) I get a notification that someone had commented on my Chicken Pizzaoilla recipe post. I love getting comments, it lets me know that you guys are really reading my stuff and not just browsing for giveaways! (I’m not implying anything!) I couldn’t check the comment right there and then, because I was driving. As soon as I got home, I did check, and I kid you not, my jaw hit the floor!
It was the rudest and meanest comment I have ever had. I couldn’t believe what I was reading!
I’d like to being by saying: Hold up a sec chick! I AM NOT 300 POUNDS! And my recipe DOES NOT look disgusting!
Yes I know I addressed my weight first. I had to, I don’t weigh, nor have I ever weighed 300 pounds! You all know my journey with Nutrisystem, and the success I’ve had. I continue to lose weight, because I don’t sit on my ass and eat chips all day! I actually move! I go on walks, I drink nothing but water and the occasional unsweetened tea. I joined a gym. I weigh less now than I did in my teens!
I took this to my fan page and I got tons of comforting comments. I am so happy to have all of you as readers. You can read the discussion we had here.
I know my pictures aren’t the best pictures in the world. I do however, try to capture the deliciousness of the food. I try to make them look as good as I can. So Boo on her if she doesn’t like the way my chicken looks! I can promise you it tastes delicious! Not to mention it’s gluten free and all natural and fresh ingredients.
I know I shouldn’t have let it get to me as bad as it did. But she didn’t just attack my recipe and pictures, she attacked my person!
So that’s why I’m saying (sarcastically of course) to Please Pass the Chips and why I’m not 300 pounds!
