For me, fashion is completely about fun, so I’m making this post about some of the more hip items I’ve found and what I think of them. I think we can all agree that having a nice graphic tee and a ridiculous hat in your wardrobe will always come handy, even if it’s only worn once a year.
We’ve all seen our share of graphic tees – some that make us cringe and some that make us smile. It’s really hit or miss. For me, I hate guys that wear “douche-y” shirts, ones that make girls realize we never want to be approached by them. My favorite type of novelty T-shirts are holiday ones. I’ve found that making fun of holidays, or embracing them, however you choose to look at it, is a lot more fun than being a grouch just because you might not have a date on Valentine’s Day. I love these fun St. Patrick’s Day shirts from Tipsy Elves. I’m definitely going to have to get one.
Socks are hot right now. I’m not talking regular, hole-invested, smelly socks; I mean fancy, unique socks with patterns and designs that will make your head spin. Everywhere I go people are wearing expensive, designer socks. These are a definite must-do in the trend-setting game right now.
These are a big no-no for me. I’m really not understanding what people’s obsessions is. If you don’t wear glasses, well then don’t wear glasses. Punched out lens or just plastic non-prescription lenses do not make you look cool. Especially when everyone knows they’re not real. Dwayne Wade, Russell Westbrook, and a couple of other basketball players tried this last year and left a lot of us shaking our heads.
At the end of the day, just use some judgement on whether or not a trend works on you. Some of us can pull them off and some of us can’t, so make sure you get a close friend’s opinion before you embarrass yourself wearing non-prescription lenses and a graphic tee.
