Forget the main course, let’s talk appetizers and starters. For as long as I can remember my mom has always integrated American and European traditions when it came to the holidays. No matter the occasion, we always had a tray of Hickory Farms sausages and cheeses. Whenever I would see the box, I knew that a special holiday was coming. Of course I would somehow convince her to open at least one early so we can all have a piece. I was a conniving little girl and usually got my way – especially when it came to gourmet meats and cheeses. I’ve always had a fine taste, and Hickory Farms has that distinguished flavor that I love.

When it comes to choosing Hickory Farms Gifts, the decision is hard. While we always go for the Summer Sausage and cheeses, there is so much more to choose from!

If you’re wondering where you can get your own Hickory Farms Gift Box you can check out hickoryfarms.com or your local mall and other retailers. I know my local mall always has a Hickory Farms Kiosk – the lady who runs it probably knows me by name now! HA!
So this year’s friendsgiving and holiday dinner was a success for us. Our friends loved the thoughtfulness we put into the entire event. It was fun, heartwarming, and definitely delicious! I do have Hickory Farms to thank – they definitely helped get the dinner started in the right direction!

We always have Hickory Fams sausage and cheeses as well! It is a tradition I have carried on from my own childhood. Our personal tradition that we started, is having the kids pick out a new ornament each year to represent them on the tree. I love going through the ornaments and remembering the year that each was bought.
Every time I see the Hickory Farms gift boxes I think of my Grandpa….someone used to give him one every year at Christmas and he always shared the strawberry candies with me. Good memories 🙂
My father LOVES Hickory Farms. It makes it easy to get him a gift when Christmas rolls around.
Woohoo! I am excited that it is that time of year when Hickory Farms is popular. We absolutely love ordering a gift basket from them every year. It’s one of my favorite traditions!
A tradition that we’ve maintained for more than 50 years is using my Mother’s recipe for delicious stuffing (and, yes, we still stuff our turkey). Our meals are much the same as when my Mom & Dad prepared the holiday feast (I sure wish my food tasted as good as when they made it)
Whenever I think of Hickory Farms, I think of family gatherings. Especially this time of year. They make great gifts, too!
My traditions used to be going with my family to my grandma’s house and eating Christmas dinner there! Now I have my own family and we have moved 1,000 miles away, so we don’t see our whole family for Christmas anymore. We are making new traditions!
When I was really young, we would go over to our Great Aunt and Uncle’s house and all the cousins would be there and it would be so much fun and eating a ton! Then as we grew up, we stopped doing that and then we started (just my immediate family) going to eat Chinese on Thanksgiving. Then I moved far away. But then I moved again to Florida near my friend and her in laws have taken me in as one of their own so I spend time with them on Thanksgiving so it is almost like a big gathering again. I love that!
I guess the way we prepare the dinner has chanced. Growing up, we didn’t have microwaves or ready made pies or potatoes to use. Everything was made from scratch. Even cooking the turkey-no oven bags. Thanks for the giveaway. Hope you have a wonderful Holiday celebration.
We love Hickory Farms. I actually have not had it in years, but I think I need to buy some for this christmas.
Since I can remember, we always got pjs on Christmas Eve to open up, and it’s a continued tradition w/my grandkids too.
The Honey & Pineapple Mustard sounds amazing. Hickory Farms has been a holiday tradition in my family for as long as I can remember.
We LOVE Hickory Farms! Spending time together as a family is always the most important holiday tradition. Food, Thanksgiving Day Parade, sharing stories, hunting… it hasn’t changed much since I was a kid other than our families have grown with husbands and children. The more the merrier!
Holidays always include Hickory Farms cheese and meat sets for us. I also love their butter mints. 🙂
This set would be perfect for wine pairing! I love Hickory Farms gift sets, they make holiday shopping and events so much easier.
Hickory Farms does have some really yummy treats to add to our holiday traditions for sure. I am so hungry as I read this, makes me want to go buy some!
Oh man, I love Hickory Farms! We always had a gift box of Hickory Farms products growing up. A neighbor would always give us one because they knew it was my dad’s favorite. Now we always buy one.
This looks like a great hostess gift! Yum!
I’d love to make some delicious Hickory Farms platters a new tradition. I can guarantee my family would be on board!
Traditions that I had growing up included visiting local tree farm to get a Christmas tree. This has changed over the years and we now have an artificial tree, though the actual pine scent is missed.
One of the best that Never left to our yearly coming: Hickory Farms, It makes me the best day with these! we loved these a lot:
Our favorite tradition is baking cookies together, my children get to pick a new recipe to try every year. Growing up my tradition with my parents was entirely different because we lived overseas and cookies were not a thing but I prefer it this way.
I love Hickory Farms products! They always fill us up and are delicious foods to enjoy for the holidays especially!
Yum, everything looks so good. Hickory Farms has the best stuff for the holiday season.
One of our traditions growing up was for the kids (myself and my brothers) to each have their own mini Christmas tree in their bedrooms. That’s something I’ve continued with my own preschooler – we put the tree up in her room for her yesterday!
Send me all the cheese! I love the Hickory Farms products I’ve had.
I love Hickory Farms and this would make a great Christmas present for family members.
I love Hickory Farms! It just isn’t Christmas unless you have a basket from them!
We always put a yellow light at the top of the tree like in a children’s book we liked to read…and yes, we still do that.
Oh I just love the stuff that Hickory Farms has to offer. We always have some of their products for the holidays!
Wow, Hickory Farms really knows how to package food ready for gift giving. They have such a wide selection of choices to choose from too.
We always decorate the tree together, and go through the ornaments and talk about where they came from and who made them.
We bake cookies and desserts together for the family
My mother is the kind of person who goes buys what ever she wants as soon as she thinks of it so ever since I got married, I have always gotten her a Hickory Farms gift basket for Christmas because she loves the summer sausage.
Growing up, we would go out of town to Grandma’s. But if the weather was bad, we would eat lasagna then go bowling.
The Hickory Farms Gift Box is perfect for the Holidays. We always go and get a bunch of our favorite treats from Hickory Farms while it is available. My favorite is the cheese balls and the chocolate truffles.
Hickory Farms treats is a holiday tradition for our family. They ave so many delicious things to choose from. The cheese balls are great with crackers.
Our family loves Hickory Farms. The gift boxes are a great gift to bring to a holiday party.
We have always baked cookies, decorated the tree and had Christmas dinner together as a family and not much of that has changed over the years.
I always like decorating the tree. Now I do it with my own kids.
I just got this set and loved how versatile it was! I did a yummy appetizer with their mustard and sausage!
The biggest change is that when I was a kid, we opened gifts Christmas Eve. Now we open them on Christmas Day and go to church Christmas Eve.
Every year my mom would make the best home made candies for Christmas! Now my daughter and I make all kinds of Christmas candies together every year.
Growing up we always got to open one gift (new PJs) on Christmas Eve, and there was always an orange in the toe of our stocking….I still do both with my kids! 🙂
Hickory Farms really has something for everyone! I love to pick up a package to bring to holiday parties we attend.
I have kept our traditions very similar to the traditions I had growing up. We host Christmas Eve every year, just like my Grandma did every year for decades.
We love to make Christmas cookies together each year.
Beautiful table display!
