Maria is an Italian New Jersey native living in the Midwestern State of Ohio. Maria loves to share her traditional Italian recipes passed down by generations of Nonna’s with her readers. She’s a step mom to three wonderful boys, all who are 10, 8, and 7! She loves mothering them and discusses her adventures quite frequently. What started off as her private space on the interwebs to rant and just blow some steam, has grown into a popular lifestyle blog. Her blog is read by people all over the world who want to learn more about fertility procedures, Italian recipes, changing to a healthier lifestyle and plus size fashion. On the blog she discusses her weight loss journey, her journey to becoming a mother and battling a hormone disorder called PCOS. She’s funny, sweet, with a little bit of crazy thrown in. If you think you’re ready to read all that is Maria, grab a strong cup of coffee (she highly recommends espresso), sit back and enjoy the ride!
Some More Info About Me:
I’m a stay at home housewife and I’m learning about homemaking every day. I’m a step mother to three wonderful boys, and we’re trying to add to our brood. I have PCOS and we have been battling infertility for almost seven years now. My husband and I have had a whirlwind romance and we’ve been flying high ever since. I’ve been blogging for six years. I realized that I have so much more to offer than just a prize. I have wisdom, experiences, and a passion for advocacy to share with you all. I advocate for PCOS and Infertility and want to raise that awareness to my readers. I cook traditional Italian meals, and want to relate the tradition and culture to all of you. After all I’m a first generation American and I love being a part of both cultures!
I’m a mommy to 5 furbabies, all dogs. We have a Labradoodle named Sandy, a Golden-Weiner named Luna, a Cockerspaniel-German Shepherd mix named Bianca, and a Chihuahua pummpy named Cici (ChiChi).
I’m spunky and blunt and will call things as they are. There will be occasional cussing. I hope that you don’t have virgin ears and eyes! I also hope that you can take a joke because, with my Italian sense of humor, there’s plenty to go around!
Towards the middle of 2014 Adventures of the Mommy Homemaker just exploded. It grew exponentially and I found myself scurrying to meet deadlines, client requests, and my own personal life as well. I also write for two other sites: Mom Blog Society and She Informed.
I will offer a review and giveaway to my readers if I feel that it is relevant to me, my blog and to my readers. If you are a health company, (i.e PCOS related, infertility related, or weight loss related) I would love to work with you. Please visit my Media Kit for more information on how we can work together.
