After visiting Kennywood with the kids this past Summer, we agreed to go back as many times as possible! It was a wonderful day filled with excitement, adventure, and exploring their limits. So this year we’re starting a new Holiday family tradition at Kennywood!
We were invited back to visit during Kennywood’s Holiday Lights Festivities. We’re going this coming Saturday and the kids haven’t got a clue about it! If you’re kids are anything like mine, you’ll understand this. My boys love, love, love lights! I’m dying to see the expression on their faces as we approach Kennywood and they see all the lights.
If you’re from the Pittsburgh area you won’t want to miss this at all! We’ll get to:
Watch Kennywood magically transform with over 1 million dazzling lights. Enjoy your Holiday songs performed by local Choirs, see the spectacular light show on the lagoon choreographed to your favorite Holiday melodies, visit Santa, ride the Gingerbread Express, and much, much more! You won’t want to miss on this very special season with Kennywood, decked out in holiday splendor.
I’m totally excited to experience this splendor with the boys this year. We’ll get to walk around the park and see all the lights, listen to Carols, ride some rides (if it doesn’t rain!), and hopefully get to meet Santa!
Even the rides look absolutely amazing!
Let’s take a look at some of the awesome events happening during the Holiday Lights!
