No, no, we’re not pregnant yet. That would really be the pot o’ gold! However, after being very ill, for over 6 weeks, I’m finally back, and hopefully better than before.
Some great things have been happening lately and I want to share them with all of you!
My husband is starting classes on April First via The University of Phoenix, to complete his Bachelors in Business Management with a concentration in Marketing! I am so excited and over the moon for him!
He wants to not only move up within his company, but he’s also looking into other areas of management. I’ve been trying, coaxing, pleading with him to go back to school, and after five years, he’s finally listened!
As far as our TTC journey, it’s not on the back burner at all. We’re saving money in, what we call, The Baby Fund. Every loose change or extra dollar, goes into a separate bank account. We’re estimating that by June or July we will be trying our first IUI cycle. This is making us work even harder to achieve that, and try to be even healthier for it.
We’re trying to stay positive and work hard. We’ve let go of some people who were only causing us heartache and bringing us down. Unfortunately, some of those people were family. We’re sad to see them go, but when bridges are burned, it’s hard to cross them. It was a hard and difficult decision for us to make, but I must admit, that things were quickly turning around once we made the cuts.
So now I’m asking all of you to stick around and check out all the new things coming to Adventures of the Mommy Homemaker. We’ll be introducing some new money saving techniques we’ve learned, new recipes – not only for the kitchen but for success too, health tips, reviews – like ice cream, guacamole, personal care products, etc. and so much much more!
I apologize for this hiatus, but my back was literally out of commission. I couldn’t walk more than a few steps without having to lean on something or someone. The flu hit me and it messed up even my muscles including my spinal cord. It was horrible. This past weekend, we attended my husband’s grandfather’s funeral, and that was a plight in itself.
With Spring comes renewal, and that’s what we’re aiming for! Thanks for sticking around!
