Last weekend Chris and I decided we were going to be teens for the day and visit Kings Island for the Christmas in July Celebrations. I know you’re probably thinking that Christmas is a kid’s holiday, but I absolutely love it and there was so much going on at Kings Island too!
You can feel the festivities pouring through as soon as you enter the gates. No lie!
We had to stop over by the fountain and I decided to do a Live Video. You could hear the music in the background, and people singing along, the rumbling of the fountains into the pool. It was magical honestly, I never thought that one could actually feel festive for the holidays in the middle of summer.
Seriously though, Christmas threw up (in a good way) all over the park and we found our way to Santa’s Workshop where we found the elves busy at work and children were coloring and doing craft projects! Totally adorable! We even found unmeltable snowmen throughout the walk down (or up) to Santa’s Workshop and giant candy canes too.
And then the best part was, I got to meet and chat with Santa! He even knew my name and my husband’s name too! Ok, the second best part was that he took over my Facebook Live! I’m serious! He had a conversation with viewers and everything! Don’t believe me? Check it out for yourselves:
You guys this was the most fun I’ve ever had! This Jolly Ol’ Man was amazingly entertaining, and taking in Ohio’s humidity like a pro! Make sure you watch the video because he has some advice for all of you!
I think that Kings Island first time doing a Christmas in July was a total success, I hope they do it again next year and every year following! There is so much to do for the kids and adults alike! Besides, there’s nothing wrong with a little holiday cheer to help bring out our own inner child right?
Did You Celebrate Christmas in July at Kings Island? Would you next year?
